Winning the War with Your Mind

Rachel Hughes - Hall 3 (main room)

Orchard Conference 10th October 2026

We all have an internal voice. Sometimes it speaks truth. Sometimes it repeats fear, shame or old patterns we've carried for years. Naming that voice is an important first step. But God doesn't simply invite us to recognise it. He invites us to renew it.

In this session, Jo shares practical, everyday ways to renew your mind. Together we'll explore how to notice your thoughts, hold them up against Scripture, and develop simple rhythms that, over time, reshape the way you think.

His Verdict is Yes

Jo Hargreaves - Hall 1

Rachel unpacks the theological origins of shame and how it shapes the verdicts we read over ourselves. Often without us knowing it, shame can be the silent killer of confidence and purpose.

This session traces where it began, how to discern it, what it means to live under God's verdict, and how we can play our part in seeing others set free. Honest, practical and rooted in scripture. This is a closer look at something that affects us all.
